For strictly convienience and proximity to my home, this dealership was not my first choice and is quite a bit further than other Harley dealers. As it worked out, the standing order I had with another dealer fell through, and luckily, Harley of Edison had the bike in stock! "of all the harley dealerships i have been to, i have never had such a pleasurable experience as the one at harley of edison. my bad mood disappeared when i entered the door, with the warm smiles and hello's of the employees. the sweet girls in the clothing department were extremely helpful in educating me about the safety features that accompany their line of awesome gear, and in making sure that my helmet and jacket fit correctly. they had a genuine desire to make sure i felt safe about my purchases. i have been back to the store many times and each experience is as great as the last. i highly recommend edison harley for all of your riding needs! its one of the only places where you are almost guaranteed to walk out with a smile! "I've been living in the area for 15 years now an have nothing but good things to say about this dealership. I have needed them for everything from my first helmet in 1984 to jets to service throughout the years and ALWAYS had great prompt service. They have the most obscure parts in stock and always are more than friendly and helpful.
I live in the Rutgers area so they are very close to my house which is handy as well.
I test rode a Buell the other day and got a Free Buell Sling Bag just for taking a ride. My next Buell or Harley will definitely be from here.
A week ago, I broke a shifter link for my current Buell M2 and Mike behind the parts counter went above and beyond the call of duty to get me on the road again. He got me the part without having to order it and without having to wait a week. I was on the road in 1 hour instead of 1 week! They were the only place open that late as well.

Gary (Schaffer) was very knowledgable and helpful in finding a bike in my price range and I am more than happy with his suggestion. Genienne (Arnault) was especially helpful with the finance aspect. She was very pleasant to deal with and she worked with my budget to get me the best deal possible, not the most expensive deal like other dealerships. Joyce (insurance) was also very sweet with her help of insuring my new bike. Overall, Harley of Edison is absolutely awesome. I will recommend anyone buying a bike to check them out first. "You guys are the best! You know how to treat your customers and it shows!!! We've purchased 3 new bikes from Harley of Edison. Eveyone there is friendly and sincere.....definitely family like...When my husband was in his accident (tractor trailer made L in front of him....he's been riding for 20+ years) we received a get well card with well wishes from all and a beautiful fruit basket. Everyone there was genuinely concerned and it made a difficult time easier because of that (a much belated thank you) We tell EVERYONE we know to go to Edison if you want true service with a smile. Referred many friends and all were happy.....We wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. Recently we made a stop at another dealership (CONVIENENCE ONLY) and got the WORST TREATMENT EVER.....if you're not a yuppie you aren't worth the time......What a mistake!!!! They need to get some pointers from you guys....I wouldn't go back there even if I broke down right in front of the place. Can't do business with dishonest people. Since 1928? Try 1999. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK....people do notice and have/will continue to go out of their way to your door. PS need more stars in customer dept ratings!!"
